Welcome Back Lunenburg High School Community,
I hope everyone has taken the summer vacation to recharge and refresh and you have been able to spend time with family and friends engaged in your favorite activities. I want to thank everyone for a successful 2025-26 school year. It is because of our talented faculty and supportive school community that we are able to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
Our message and work this year will revolve around creating a supportive environment for students and staff to learn and grow. We have encountered some difficult years with some reductions in staffing, but we understand the importance of providing a high school experience that challenges students and prepares them for college and career.
It is people, not programs, that make a difference in a student’s life, and I look forward to the positive impact that our dedicated faculty have on student learning. Our administrative team is here to support families and teachers in this important work and ensure that we are meeting the academic and social/ emotional needs of each student in our community.

Parent Drop-off and Pick-up
Just as a reminder, the main entrance to Lunenburg Middle-High School will be from Massachusetts Avenue. Parents will queue up in the right-hand lane to drop students off in front of the high school wing. The middle lane will be utilized by teachers reporting to work and by buses traveling to the bus loop drop-off in front of the main entrance. The left lane will be to exit campus. No students can enter the building before 7:45 a.m. unless they have made arrangements for extra help with a teacher or are participating in a supervised extracurricular activity.
For pick up, parents will queue up in the same fashion as they did for drop off. Parents will be allowed into the bus loop after 2:40 p.m., when the buses have loaded and left campus.
School Lunch
School lunches will be free of charge for all students for the 2026-2027 school year.
